Noatikl and Sonar X1.

Postby Willem » Thu Sep 08, 2011 12:17 pm

Hi,

Can anyone explain to me how to set up Noatikl in Sonar X1 Producer? I can't seem to get it to work.

Thanks in advance,

Willem

Hi Willem,

Have you figured this out yet? I'm not a Sonar user, so can't check for you directly...

Best wishes,

Pete

Hi Pete,

No. I'm getting the same problem as in all other DAWs I own (FL Studio) and tried (Presonus Studio One), I can't seem to set a specific MIDI out port to a VST instrument in port. So all VST's get all channel data from Noatikl.

I know it should be possible to do this in Cubase but unfortunately I can't afford to buy it. Logic is also expensive and works on Mac only so that's no option either.

Do you know of any other affordable DAW that fully supports Noatikl? Reaper perhaps?

Regards,

Willem

Hi Willem,

I definitely suggest that you give Reaper a go - I use it for both Win and Mac, and it works well for me - excellent value too I think!

Best wishes,

Pete

Thank you! I'll try the demo tonight with Noatikl.
