PHASING ACROSTICS: Wotja vs Noatikl

Postby Loopy C » Fri May 09, 2014 7:43 am

Generative keyboards, based on the textual acrostics of influential composers via 'Wotja', combined with the beat derivations of gated, phasing sine waves ala 'Noatikl' generated CC's.

Cool stuff Chris, and thanks v much for sharing. I am checking it out now and *really* liking what I hear (am on Wotja and LFO beats 1 as I type)!

I am sure people would be interested to know how you did this, and your set up :)

Thank you Tim, that means a lot :)

Some notes maybe to come, but been a long night tonight. For now FWIW, I wanted to link to the 'yang' of those sessions in response to your given your interest ;-)

Similar approach (same sessions, shifting to a 'harder' percussion and synth duo), the 'mirror darkly' to the lighter 'Phasing Acrostics' set...if those were my aspirations of a Eno/Laraaji/Isham music space, then the following set is the darker Bowie 'Low'/Berlin emotional reciprocal, continuing the explorations of Intermorhic possibilities as compositional aid.

Generation-wise, just me and Intermorphic, and a couple of Kontakt instruments plus select FX...in 'Duo Form'.
