Hi all,
Scale changes on Noatikl 3 iOS seem to have no effect.
Working for anyone else?

Just tested it with the generic, scale rules template. Works as expected on my phone here. Not sure what might be causing your issue but I don't think it's a problem with the engine.

Thanks Mark!
I know it is stating the obvious, but it possible that you've (say) set-up your voices to use a custom Scale Rule, but are changing the values for a different Scale Rule - and, therefore, aren't hearing any changes..?!
Best wishes,
Pete

Re: iOS Niatikl 3 scale in pieces always major?
Hi Pete,
I think the scenario is that I created 2 voices with default scale and then created a custom blues scale for the piece after the 2 voices. I would expect 'default' to use the piece scale but it stayed major.
I can work around it but not what I'd expect to happen.
Thanks for the helpful responses!

Each voice can be set to use scale rule "?", which in effect means it should use the piece level scale rule. It sounds like you have the voice rules set to "Default" which means they will use that instead of your "Blues" rule, that I presume you have select as the piece rule. Either set both the voice scale rules to "Blues" rule or to "?" and it should work as you want.
hth!
