I'm now on Reaper 64 and have Noatikl 64 installed as an external program. I also have MidiOx installed.
Is there a walk through to get this working?
Thanks again

I guess things might have moved on in terms of interface design, but there could be some pointers in this old post.

I don't have the current version of Reaper installed so can't check it myself right now.

[edit!! - Forgot to say that you need to go to the Audio and Midi setup in Reaper once its launched to enable the virtual midi port for input and output, otherwise it won't appear in the drop down list on Reaper's track page]
How do you do you do this? Thanks
Also MidiOX does not appear as an option in external Noatikl's output options.

I'm not a Windows user so I can only guess at what might be going wrong there. However, last time I checked, MidiOx was a 32 bit programme and there were no plans to convert it to 64 bit. So it might be that neither Noatikl nor Reaper can "see" the interface because of this mismatch. Also MidiOX does not appear as an option in external Noatikl's output options.
I'm not up to speed with alternative 64 bit options in Windows that might test this theory. I guess one option would be RTPMidi. That looks to me like it might be possible to use that to create a virtual midi interface that you could use as a loopback but you'd be on your own in terms of setting it up as I don't have an access to a 64bit Windows system.
[Edit] Seems like LoopBE could be another option for 64 bit.

After a lot of trial could not get this working external to Reaper.
