Windows 7: VSTi location?

Postby DarkStar » Mon May 24, 2010 1:39 pm

In Windows XP, noatikl is installed into C:\Program Files\intermorphic
and the VSTi into (the fixed location): C:\Program Files\VstPlugIns

What happens in Windows 7 (64-bit)?

Ok, thank you.

I ask as I want to move it into my own VST folder organisation so that it shows up in the right place in my hosts.

I also want to move the plugins into the VST folders I've set up. Is it simply a matter of moving the dll files after installation, or would anything else need to be configured first?

It would be nice if we could choose to change folders while installing.
