liptikl progress!

Postby impete » Mon Jul 09, 2007 7:32 am

Hi Folks,

Just a quick update to let you know that the liptikl engine is working well, the user inteface is getting a fine-tune, and we're hoping to release the first version in just a few weeks.

All the best!

Pete

Hey, you have a point. :)

liptikl has been sitting there for a few weeks without many changes, while we've been focusing on noatikl.

The good news it that we've finally got all our ducks in a row with respect to getting started with some select Beta testing of the product... so it can't be long now. Honest. :)

Very interestingly, it turns out that quite a few people interested in noatikl are also interested in liptikl, which isn't necessarily something that I'd have predicted. Shows how little I know. :)

Well speaking for myself, being interested in 'meta art' techniques includes any and all 'generative tools' as 'interesting'.

I guess the good news is that we've finally started work on the manual. :)

The better news is that the first-draft manual is now written, and is now getting reworked. We're getting there. :)

Happy V1 'release'!

Of course having both out (Noatikl & Liptikl) creates a schism for me (a good one), two great tools in one day! First thought to try to make some equal' time is 'training' Liptikl to make 'Oblique Strategies' for Noatikl sessions (thanks again Brian and Peter).

Anyway, that, and 'CNN Haikus (5 7 5) have been fun so far ;-)

I'd love to see a CNN Haiku! ;)
