mixtikl created tracks

Post by dj_papico » Sun Nov 26, 2017 7:16 pm

http://www.soundcloud.com/djpapico

all 97 of these tracks were made using mixtikl.

aside from the early stuff, almost all the loops are user content, bought in loop packs or downloaded at looperman etc. I use the software primarily as a sequencer and really appreciate the powerful flexibility available through stacking filters etc.

I'm still using version 5.5.7 because of the way the newer software release interfaces with the user content folder.

Hi

Thanks for posting that (I removed the duplicate post). I have had a listen to some, cool!

Not quite sure what you mean wrt interfacing wrt the user content folder... but it is good you have found a way to do what you want to do.

Now that iCloud is better established, and we have Wotja as the route forward for those Mixtikl users who want a route forward, we recommend using the iCloud Folder (yes, that would mean using Wotja however).

NB: If you are using iOS or macOS, then you should find that Wotja can open/play all your Mixtikl mixes. If you did want a route forward it might be worth trying Wotja (you can do a lot in the subs version for free) just to see how you get on with it (but by all means stick with Mixtikl if you want). There are only a few minor things not supported in Wotja, see: https://intermorphic.com/mixtikl/#faq-mixtikl-v-wotja. If you did try it and did encounter any issues, let us know and we will see if we can offer suggestions/workarounds etc.

NBB: We hope to be able to release Wotja for Windows and Android sometime in 2018.
