Fixed WJ 5.0.4: Trying the 3 day trial. and struggling

Im using Wotja Mac OS on Mac book and trying to export audio mix down. I set up a random music mix then from the action button I select Mixdown and recordings. Select Audio for 16 bars then select the record button at the bottom. Nothing happens no progress bar or anything. Is there some setting Im missing I cannot see what Im going wrong as the help files are very biased towards iOS.

Hi Ian

Thanks for your interest and sorry to hear of your issue.

I have just tried this myself, and I have no issues making a recording.

So, some thoughts. If you had tried using Wotja without the Trial "Unlocked" subscription then every time you try to make a recording then the in app store would pop up. As you have not mentioned that, then I assume the trial subscription is in place.

When you press the record button, you say that nothing happens... Odd. When I press it then I see the progress bar move and a recording is made, which, as I have iCloud enabled for Wotja (Mac > System Preferences > iCloud > iCloud Drive > Options > Wotja) is saved to the Wotja iCloud folder. Can I ask if you have iCloud enabled? If not, then recordings are saved to the Intermorphic Folder (see: https://intermorphic.com/help/#faq-intermorphic-folder). I have checked that both work.

What version of macOS are you using?

Looking forward to getting to the bottom of this one for you.

Hi Tim

Just enabled Cloud for Wotja and still no joy. I have the folder Music/Intermorphic but it is empty, the I Cloud drive has no Intermorphic folder

Im using Mac OS Sierra 10.12.6

Gave up, tried everything I could think of, cancelled trial. May give the iOS version a go on my phone.

Can you please let me know exactly what version of macOS you're using?

I've found an rare issue that *might* affect recording progress updating etc. - but which might depend on the version of macOS you're using.

Sorry, I just realised - you're on the same version of macOS that Tim and I are both using, so I don't think that can explain your problem!

In which case - I'm stumped!

Just to provide some further information for anyone reading this thread. We have finally managed to track this issue down (it was hard to isolate) and it is now fixed in Wotja V5.0.4 for macOS. The issue only occurred on macOS.
