Wotja X on OSX

Post by oldlibmike » Sun Apr 29, 2018 3:29 pm

Hi guys,
Just getting around to checking the new version on OSX and looks very promising. One question - how do I create a new file with (Manual) options? All of the options for new Wotjas seem to be automatic. A bit inconvenient to create a new file and have to delete all of the "automatic" voices.

Hi

Unless we are missing something (which is always possible!), then it V5.4.0 it should be as easy as :

Create New > Music Mix (manual).

This will create an empty mix for you and open in the Mix screen.

To randomise things (According to your Settings), use the top Dice button. Or, add content into Cells manually, as per usual.

Save/name the file when you are done.

NB: On iOS you need to open the file after it is created.

Hope that helps!

Ah there was an update just yesterday. Looks good now - thanks. Is there a way to coordinate the play button in Wotja with the play button in Logic Pro X?

Hi Mike!

We do have plans to implement a MIDI Transport control sync feature in Wotja desktop (indeed we had this feature in Noatikl desktop); but nothing yet concrete in terms of timescales.

With best wishes,

Pete
