Wotja Does Not Run on MacOS High Sierra...

Postby bcgreen24 » Wed Oct 04, 2017 10:02 pm

...it crashes when creating a new mix, crashes when clicking on cells. Just closes immediately.

Buyer's remorse has set in quickly.

Hi Bryan,

Thanks for getting in touch.

We've just had the crash reports come-in overnight.

We'll fix it as soon as we can track it down!

Best wishes,

Hi again!

Right, we've fixed the issue, which was caused by Wotja not being able to locate the iCloud folder on your Mac.

We'll push the update for review later today; turn-arounds right now from Apple are pretty quick for macOS app reviews, so the update should appear in just a day or two, I would hope. The fix is in Wotja for macOS, version 4.13.2 or later.

As a work-around, you could enable the iCloud drive folder on your Mac.

Many thanks again for getting in touch, and with best wishes,

Pete

Hi Bryan,

Great stuff - thanks for letting us know!

We're now waiting for Apple to approve the fixed build, which has a few other fixes in it as well.

With best wishes,

Pete
