I'm probably just stupid but even after reading the manual I can't save my own rules.

Can someone please explain how (I'm on Windows 10) ?

Hi Greg

It is not very obvious in Liptikl 1, sorry. There are 2 options.

1) ... kl-desktop
See the Create section and "You can easily create and use any rule you want, just type a new rule into the Rule combo box, press the Cut-up button, and see what happens!"

2) ... te-options
Right click the text in the Create field and select Edit.
You can then add in some text to create the rule you want (where 1 can be anything but acts like a word):
1 1 1 1
1 1 1 1 1 1

and it will create a new rule (1, 4, 6) for you based on what you type in.

Rules are saved TO A FILE. So, if you want to create and use the same rules over again, save a file with them in and create a copy of that file which you then use for your new cut-up.

NB: When Wotja X for Windows is complete then it will have full support for cut-up and and all that is presently in Wotja 5. Wotja is the future for Liptikl and the cut-up capabilities that were in that and Wotja 5 has all Liptikl 2 capabilities and new support for syllables.
